The Vermont Clay Studio is Vermont’s premier ceramic art center. The studio was established in 1993 by a group of clay artists and teachers as a non-profit organization. People of all ages, abilities and interests gather here
- to explore their own and each others creativity,
- to learn more about the ceramic arts,
- to meet new friends.
The Vermont Clay Studio consists of two distinct elements:
- the Pottery Studio / Class Space,
- the Gallery
In addition, we offer monthly exhibits, classes, demonstrations, lectures, workshops, and other special events (Calendar).
The “Claymobile” is our Statewide outreach program and makes ceramic arts classes accessible to schools, libraries and community groups.
As a non-profit cultural and educational institution, the Vermont Clay Studio’s mission is to promote the creativity of individuals through the appreciation and development of the ceramic arts.
We are funded by tuition fees, memberships, gallery sales, annual special events and generous donations from individuals, foundations and corporations.
